James H. Harden, 72, of Soddy Daisy, Tennessee, passed away on Tuesday, May 21, 2024, in a local health care facility.

He retired from Arcadis Engineering and was of the Baptist faith. His hobbies were fishing, casinos and working on his second generation 1981 Camaro.

Jimmy was preceded in death by his parents, Herbert Lee and Nelle Louise Robinson Harden.

Survivors include his wife of 53 years, Jody Harden, sons, Chris (Christy) Harden and Jeremy (Candice) Harden, daughter, Jamie (Matt) Am, two brothers, Jerry (Karen) Harden and Kenneth Harden, four grandchildren, Blake, Kaitlyn, Micheal and Kylee and several nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be held on Thursday, May 30, at 1 p.m. in the Hamilton County Memorial Park.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, May 30, from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. in the funeral home.
