The Chattanooga Festivals of Black Arts and Ideas are ongoing festival series highlighting and celebrating extraordinary artists of African descent in the disciplines of music, dance, theatre, visual arts, film and literature. Upcoming events include:

Katherine Dunham Juba Dance Ensemble Performance on Friday at 7 p.m. at the Chattanooga High School Center for Creative Arts

3rd Annual Juneteenth Freedom Run & Walk on Saturday at 8 a.m. at the Tennessee Riverpark
