Peggy Golston Buck, 91, entered the presence of Jesus peacefully on the morning of June 11, 2024, at VibraLife El Paso, Texas.

Peggy was the daughter of Tom and Tish Golston of Palmer, Tn.. Peggy was a vibrant spirit and a force of nature. She served the Lord alongside her husband of 66 years, Rev. R. Harold Buck, in The Methodist Church and The United Methodist Church in the Tennessee and the Holston Annual Conferences. Together they served several churches in Middle and East Tennessee, northwest Georgia, and southwest Virginia.

Next to the youngest of nine brothers and sisters, Peggy loved her family. Hosting Christmas dinners and organizing family reunions, she loved to have her family together. She took great pride and joy in raising three sons and loved her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Peggy is survived by her three sons: Mr. Robert H. Buck, Jr. (LeeAnn) of Ponte Vedra Beach, FL, Mr. Reginald Buck (Angelica) of El Paso, TX, and Rev. Rowland Buck (Sinda) of Alcoa, TN; four grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; her brother, Mr. William Golston (JoAnn) of Hixson, TN; and several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, June 27, from 5:30–7:30 p.m. at Lane Funeral Home, Ashland Terrace. A Service of Death and Resurrection celebrating Peggy’s life will be held on Friday, June 28, at 11 a.m. at Red Bank United Methodist Church with the Rev. Donald Smith officiating. Internment will immediately follow in Hamilton Memorial Gardens.
