Ronald “Ronnie” Boak, 80, of Flintstone, GA passed away Friday, June 21, 2024, at a local hospital.
Ronnie was a native of Pisgah, AL and had lived most of his life in North Georgia where he was a 1962 graduate of Rossville High School. Ronnie was a truck driver by trade having worked over 20 years with Burlington Industries. He went on to be a truck driver for Chatham Industries and retired from Brenntag. Ronnie was a member of the Lookout Baptist Church and was a Shriner with the Alhambra Shrine in Chattanooga, TN. He loved his family dearly and enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren. Ronnie had a great sense of humor and had a “saying” for everything. He enjoyed woodworking, was known for restoring tractors, and he loved spending time on his porch in his bed swing. He will be missed by his family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Clinton and Pearl Boak; and sister, Elaine Boak.
Survivors include his wife of 62 years, Linda Stone Boak; daughter Rhonda (Lane) Jacks; sister, Glenda Sehorne; four grandchildren, Matt, Mitch, Will, and Cooper Jacks; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 6 p.m. in the South Crest Chapel with Joe Dodd officiating.
The family will receive friends Tuesday from 4-6 p.m. at the South Crest Chapel of Lane Funeral Home and Crematory, located at the end of historic Missionary Ridge, Rossville, GA.
