Dayton Art League Exhibit & Reception Is July 21

The public is invited to a 'Meet and Greet' Sunday for the Dayton Art Leagues' exhibit, "Different Together."

Attendees can mingle and enjoy light refreshments during the event to be held this Sunday from 1-3 p.m.

The show features 70 works of art by 15 artists. The art work is of a wide variety of subjects in various mediums and styles. They will be on display Monday-Friday from 9 a.m.-5 p.m. at the North River Civic Center, 1009 Executive Dr. in Hixson, July-Sept. 27.

The Dayton Arts League was organized by a group of Dayton artists on Oct.
3, 1974. Their objective was to encourage the interest of art in this area and to promote the awareness that art is for everyone to enjoy.

Participating Artists: Marvin T. Snyder, Geneva Andrews, Kimmy C. Headler, Judy Snider, Deanne Hawthorne, Jayson Huntley DiGiantomasso, Kay Wilkey, Suzanne Huffman, Lucy Crider, Phyllis Bekemeir,Michael Ocepek, Megan Keylon, Connie Ocepek, Robb Linn and Linda Frost.
