Jeff Burr
In memory of recently departed filmmaker Jeff Burr, who passed away in October of 2023, the Chattanooga SE TN Film Commission presents "A Decade Under The Innocence," directed by Daniel Griffith.

The film is a feature-length documentary depicting Mr. Burr's youth in rural Dalton, where he avidly read horror fanzines and began making his own Super-8 films with his friends. It is these cinematic adventures that serve as the heart of Griffith's loving ode to his friend and fellow filmmaker.

The event will be held this Thursday at the Don Eaves Heritage House in East Brainerd.
Doors will open at 6 p.m., with trailers at 6:45 p.m. and the feature presentation will begin at 7 p.m.

There will be a brief Q&A after the presentation. Admission is free.

Officials said, "As high attendance is expected, RSVPs are recommended by emailing HeritageHouse@Chattanooga.gov with the number in your party."
