Norma C. Beaty, 85, passed away on Tuesday, July 16, 2024.

She graduated from Pleasant Hill Academy High School in 1956 and attended Berea College in Berea, KY. Norma was a resident of Harrison, and a member of Bayside Baptist Church for over 40 years. She was an avid TN Vols fan and enjoyed gardening, reading, and spending time with her family.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, Tommy Beaty; parents, Olin and Ora Moore; brother, Gordon Moore; sister, Vickie Moore, and great-granddaughter, Carmen Beaty.

Norma is survived by her children, Carol Beaty, Gary Beaty (Brenda), Steve Beaty and Curt Beaty (Karen); grandchildren, Misty, Whitney, Gary, Tanner, Jessica, Sophia, Sierra and Braxton, and eight great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends on Monday, July 22, from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. at Turner Funeral Home at Highway 58. The funeral service will follow at 2 p.m. in the chapel with Pastor Dewayne Murphy officiating.

Norma will be laid to rest in Hamilton Memorial Gardens.
