Joyce L. Morgan, 86, passed away peacefully on July 5, 2024.

She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church Red Bank. She was a devout Christian who trusted in Jesus as her Lord and Savior. Joyce was very active in her church community.

She was a graduate from Red Bank High School class of 1956. Joyce was a former member of White Oak United Methodist Church. She worked for First Federal Savings and Loan where she was awarded the Professional Secretary of the Year award and was also an officer in the Professional Secretary organization. Joyce was very loving in nature and enjoyed drawing, sewing and painting.

Joyce was preceded in death by her husband, William P. (Bill) Morgan, her parents, James Marler and Gladys Marler Manis.

She is survived by her children, Angela Morgan (James Dunaway) and Tyler Morgan (Paula); granddaughter, Laura Friebel (Seth); sister, Lynda Lane and sisters-in-law, Gill Morgan of Hixson and Louise Morgan of Winston-Salem, North Carolina. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, other extended family members, and one special friend and cousin, Melinda Ingle.

Visitation will be held at Hamilton Funeral Home on Monday, July 8, from 4-6 p.m. Visitation will continue on Tuesday, July 9, from 11 a.m. until funeral service time at 12:30 p.m. Burial will follow at Hamilton Memorial Gardens.
