Hutchins Academy LLC announces its founder and CEO, Marie Mott, has been accepted into the Urban Vision Institute Fall 2024 Cohort. This recognition comes as Ms. Mott continues to build on a
year during which she helped her senior students secure $7.2 million in scholarships, with placements at top-tier institutions such as Spelman College and Caltech.

"I am deeply honored to join the Urban Vision Institute's Fall 2024 Cohort," said Ms. Mott. "This opportunity will enable me to gain invaluable insights and resources to empower the Hutchins Academy students further. I am committed to breaking down barriers and creating pathways for success for black children."

She also expressed her gratitude for the support from the Frost Family Foundation and the program partners. 

 The Urban Vision Institute, led by UTC, is part of the National Urban Poverty and Business Initiative. UVI assists entrepreneurs facing economic and other disadvantages by leveraging local and national resources, offering entrepreneurial training, mentorship, consulting, and access to microcredit programs. UVI's mission is to foster wealth-building through entrepreneurship and alleviate poverty.
