Cardiologist Tyler Emerson, MD, Joins The Chattanooga Heart Institute

The Chattanooga Heart Institute at CHI Memorial welcomes Tyler Emerson, MD. Dr. Emerson earned his medical degree from University of Tennessee College of Medicine in Memphis. He completed his residency in internal medicine and a general cardiovascular medicine fellowship at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville. He worked as a critical care nurse and nurse leader for five years before returning to school to earn his medical degree.

Dr. Emerson is board-certified in internal medicine and a member of the American College of Cardiology and the American Society of Preventive Cardiology.

Emerson joins 28 cardiologists and four cardiothoracic surgeons.
