Joan Marie Garcia-Colin Scherer De Mohler
Joan Marie Garcia-Colin Scherer De Mohler, 89, of Chattanooga, Tennessee, passed away on Sunday, August 18, 2024, at her residence.
A native of Mexico City, Mexico, she moved to Texas and later moved to Chattanooga where she has lived for the past 24 years. Joan was a member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help in Chattanooga and was known for all of her charity work at the church and outside of the church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Michel Phillip Mohler; parents, Leopoldo and Maria Elena Scherer Garcia-Colin.
She is survived by her son, Michael (Monica) Mohler; two daughters, Leslie Mohler (Erlend) Van Der Veeken and Loraine Mohler (Michael) Shartouny; sister, Patricia (Julio) Guzman; seven grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
Private services will be held at a later date.
