Bobby Ray Penney, of Soddy Daisy, Tennessee, passed away peacefully at his home on August 3, 2024. He was 80.

Bobby lived his life never meeting a stranger. He liked to talk, and he could be caught always telling a joke and sharing in his sense of humor. Bobby loved animals and took pride in caring for them. He will always be remembered by many for his Orange Chevrolet pick-up truck.

Bobby is survived by his wife, Veronica Penney; two daughters, Judith (David) Whitten and Melinda Penney; two sons, Bobby Jr. and Brian Penney; stepdaughter, Shelly Blodgett; as well as several grandchildren and great-grandchildren and extended family.
