Retired From Atlas Top-Flight Paper After 51 Years

Nayomia Jo Rogers, 93, of Trenton, Georgia, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, September 10, 2024, at her residence.

Mrs. Rogers was a member of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church and retired from Atlas Top-Flight Paper in Chattanooga following 51 years of service.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold Rogers, mother amd father, Bertie and Kelvie Gray, sisters, Doris (Wilbur) West and Donnie Rogers, and brother, Kenneth (Mary) Gray.

Survivors include her daughters, Carolyn (Paul) Nethery, Trenton, Freida Cloud, Trenton, and Teresa (James) Cash, Hixson; son, Lonnie (Cindy) Rogers, Trenton; sisters-in-law, Vala Murphy, Rising Fawn, and Betty Ann Rogers, Bryant, Al.; brother-in-law, J.D. Rogers, Ider, Al.; grandchildren, Matt (Dana) Nethery, Jeremy (Sara) Cloud, Josh Cloud, Jamie (Dan) Varnell, Alan (Sarah) Cash, Lindsay (Steven) Ryan, and Laura (Geoff) Oliver; great-grandchildren, Ashley (Kyle) Yaklin, Bryce (Stahr Stembel) Nethery, Audrey Cloud, Brayden Nethery, Cash Varnell, Carter Ryan, Maclane Cash, Levi Varnell, Charlie Ryan, Brendan Oliver, and Camden Cash; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, Sept. 14, at 1 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Pastor Darren Rogers and Brother Roy Morgan, Sr. officiating. Interment will follow in Lake Hills Memorial Gardens with grandsons serving as pallbearers.

A special thanks is extended to Brandi, Crystal, Lisa and the staff of Hearth Hospice for the excellent care given to Mrs. Rogers. Online condolences may be shared at ryanfuneralhome.net.

The family will receive friends on Friday, Sept. 13, from 2-8 p.m. and Saturday from 11 a.m. until the service hour at Ryan Funeral Home & Crematory, Trenton.
