Gary Lee Webb, 79, of Soddy Daisy, Tennessee, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on Monday, September 9, 2024.

Gary was a dedicated husband to his beautiful bride Sherry Webb for 59 years. He also was a devout father, papaw, man of God and friend to many. He was born in Oklahoma City, Ok., but spent most of his life in Chattanooga. If you have ever bought a car from Lexus of Chattanooga/Capital Toyota then you probably bought from the best, Gary Webb. He was a passionate sales consultant/manager for many, many years. He was known amongst other car sales men as “the one that taught me everything”.

In his free time he enjoyed worshiping God, fellowship at his church, fishing, camping, boating, selling cars, but most of all spending time with family. Gary was also a proud veteran serving his country in the Navy in his early twenties.

Gary was preceded in death by his dad, Lee Webb, mother, Gladys Webb, brothers, Ray and Tony and sister, Kay.

He is survived by his wife, Sherry, son, Ray (Nicole), and daughter, Taylor (Khris), grandchildren, Jordan and Aiden and many beloved family members.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, Sept. 15, from 2-5 p.m. and continue on Monday, Sept. 16, from 11 a.m.-12 p.m. at Hamilton Funeral Home.

A chapel service will be held on Monday, Sept. 16, at 12 p.m. Interment will be held Monday, Sept. 16, at Chattanooga National Cemetery with full military honors at 2 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, consider making a donation to www.theshadygrovechurch.org. This church is near and dear to Gary and his wife, and they would be honored to have you support them. If you knew Gary, you know how much Christ meant to him.

Arrangements are entrusted to Hamilton Funeral Home and Cremation Service, 4506 Hixson Pike, Hixson, Tn. 37343, 423 531-3975.
