Norma Embrey Brewster
Norma Embrey Brewster, of Chattanooga, passed away on Saturday, August 24, 2024.
She was born in Nashville, on May 18, 1941. Norma graduated from Central High School in Chattanooga in 1959. Norma retired from C. Kenneth Still Chapter 13 Bankruptcy Trustee as an office manager in 2003. She was a member of Brainerd Baptist Church until she moved to Tucson, AZ, in 2016.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles A. Brewster, Jr. in 1991 and her middle child, Richard Allen Brewster in 2016.
Norma is survived by her two sons, Charles A. Brewster, III, and Christopher L. (Christi) Brewster, a son-in-law, Kevin Hsu of Los Angeles, Ca., and her sister, and brother-in-law, Mrs. Tendra Rowland and Rev. Ross Rowland of Merritt Island, Fl.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, Sept. 19, from 2-6 p.m. at Chattanooga Funeral Home East, with a Celebration of Norma’s Life to be held graveside at Forest Hills Cemetery on Friday, Sept. 20, at 1 p.m.
