Rhyne Howard To Keynote Corner Evolution Fundraiser Nov. 8

  • Wednesday, September 4, 2024

Corner Evolution announced the Dreams Don't Die With Us! Fundraiser Dinner is set to take place on Nov. 8 at the Brainerd BX. This event will bring together community leaders, supporters and youth advocates to celebrate the work Corner Evolution is doing in the lives of young people across Chattanooga.

The keynote speaker will be WNBA superstar Rhyne Howard. The evening will include a dinner, a silent auction and presentations highlighting Corner Evolution’s core programs: Camp Evolution, Showered with Hope and City Life.

Camp Evolution offers an immersive experience for teens, allowing them to escape the challenges of their daily lives and explore the outdoors while engaging in conflict resolution, team-building, and leadership training. Recently, 45 campers and 10 staff members enjoyed a week along the Tennessee River.

Showered with Hope is a mobile pop-up care village initiative that provides essential services to individuals experiencing homelessness. By offering mobile showers, hygiene kits, clothing and meals, the program addresses the immediate needs of those on the streets while also promoting dignity and self-worth.

City Life empowers youth through mentorship and educational programs, helping them navigate challenges and create pathways to success. This program guides teens toward post-secondary education, job training or personal development.

Tickets for the "Dreams Don't Die With Us!" Fundraiser Dinner are available now. For more information about the event, to purchase tickets, or to learn more about Corner Evolution, please visit www.cornerevolution.simpletix.com or contact Mark Thomas at mark@cornerevolution.com.
