Emrick, Juanita Jean, 92, of Rossville, Georgia, went home to be with her Lord on Saturday, January 11, 2025.

She was born in Fort Wayne, In. on Dec. 9, 1932. She was a pastor’s wife and mother of three children. Juanita was of the Baptist faith and worked fervently in the church for many years alongside her husband, John.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Reverend John Emrick; parents, Charles and Ruth Sittloh; two brothers, and one sister.

Those left to cherish her memory are her three children, Steve (Winnie) Emrick, Shirley (Ferrell) Thomason, and Pam Camp; three grandchildren, Misty (Shain) Reed, Nita Slatton, and Jeff Kimbro; two great grandchildren, Chloe Brady, and James Slatton, several nieces, nephews, and other extended family members and friends.

The family will receive friends from 3–7 p.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 15, at the South Crest Chapel of Lane Funeral Home.

A graveside funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, Jan. 16, at Lakewood Memory Gardens South in Rossville, Ga.
