Anita West Beckett, 93, of Chattanooga, Tennessee, passed away on Sunday, January 12, 2025.

She was the daughter of the late James Wallace West and Pearl Hale West and was preceded in death by her husband, William Thomas Beckett, and son, Ronald West Beckett.

Anita was a gifted artist and loved to paint, solve puzzles and fish. She retired from Success Portrait Company where she worked as a portrait reproduction artist.

She was of the Baptist faith.

Survivors include her daughter-in-law, CJ Beckett Coomer, two sons, John Beckett (Cathy), of McKinney, Tx., Michael Beckett (Deanna), of Ooltewah, three grandchildren, Dagan Beckett, Darren Beckett, Sarah Beckett, and four great grandchildren, West Beckett, Thomas Beckett, Logan Beckett and Alayna Beckett.

Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 17, at Ooltewah United Methodist Church, 6131 Relocation Way, Ooltewah, Tn. 37363, with Pastor Micah Nicolaus officiating. Burial will follow at Harrison Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 1–3 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 17, at the church.
