Frankie Mae Heard Pike got her angel wings and was reunited with her husband January 13, 2025. She was surrounded by her family that loves and cherish her. She was a prayer warrior and loved her Lord, so she is now dancing and singing in her heavenly home.

Frankie was born on Oct. 25, 1940, in Ider, Alabama to William and Clara Pearl Heard. She married the love of her life Sidney Pike on Sept. 14, 1958.They shared 38 years before he was called home. She had three daughters that she loved and gave her all to.

Ms. Frankie loved to sing and praise her Jesus and sang in the choir at Lupton Drive Baptist Church until her health declined. But she continued to sing and praise every day.

She was preceded in death by her husband Sidney Pike, parents William and Clara Pearl Heard, in laws Sidney and Zora Pike. Siblings Wayne Heard, Tince Rogers, William (Dub) Heard, Burt Heard, Janice White and Joan Wade.

She leaves behind to cherish her memories and legacy, her daughters Janet (Eddie) Ramsey, Cindy (Ken) Kelley and Jennifer (Steve) Harris. Grandchildren Ben (Jen) Kelley, Shavonne (Derek) Doughty, Mandy Ramsey and Mark (Jessica) Ramsey. Ten Great Grandchildren Rhyan Kelley, Tyler and Karlee Doughty, Sidney Morrissey, Brody Wiram, Addie, Emma and Kade Kelley, Charley and Frankie Rose Ramsey. Brother Ralph Heard and many nieces and nephews she adored.
Frankie lived her life loving and caring for her family and was a mother to so many that she lifted and touched their lives with her loving heart and prayers.

We will love you always Mama, Granny P., Nanna Banana until we see you again. Love you Mucho Grande and More than Tennessee.

The family will receive friends from 1-4 p.m. on Sunday, Jan. 19, at the North Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home. A Celebration of Frankie’s life will follow at 4 pm on Sunday, at the North Chapel with Pastor Randy Bell officiating.

Burial for the family will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, Jan. 20, at Chattanooga National Cemetery.
