U.S. Navy Veteran Had A Passion For Physical Fitness

Ralph Edward Aaron, 77, of Chattanooga, Tennessee, passed away on Sunday, January 19, 2025.

He was born on Oct. 24, 1947 in Chattanooga. He graduated from Kirkman Technical High School Class of 1966. Ralph was a U.S. Navy veteran serving during Vietnam on the US Kennedy based at NAS Jacksonville. He worked as a master technician in the automotive industry for many years. In his later years, Ralph worked for the City of Chattanooga as a personal trainer for the Chattanooga City Fire Department, Police Department and paramedics.

Ralph had a passion for physical fitness and he enjoyed kickboxing, jet skis, and was an avid cyclist.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Jeannene Aaron; parents, Robert Lee “RL” and Betty Lou Aaron.

Those left to cherish his memory are his three brothers, Johnny (Sheila) Aaron, Mike Aaron, and Robert (Karen) Aaron; close friend, Chris (Beth) Cobb; many nieces, nephews, and other extended family members and friends.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, Feb. 1, at Lane Funeral Home and Crematory South Crest Chapel from 1 p.m. until the service time.

A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 1, in the funeral home chapel.
