In a momentous occasion, Terran Jerrell Gilbert, known professionally as “T-RAN,” received a proclamation in his honor from State Representative Yusuf Hakeem at the Tennessee State Capitol. This esteemed recognition
celebrates T-RAN’s "impact on the music industry and his historic accomplishments as an award-winning recording artist, songwriter, record producer, musician, music video director, actor, motivational speaker, entrepreneur and philanthropist."

Accompanied in celebration by Tennessee House Representative Greg Vital, all three hail from Chattanooga, further solidifying their shared commitment to the community.

Since beginning his professional journey in the music industry at the age of 13, T-RAN has consistently strived to “Make History” in all aspects of his life.
T-RAN is a proud voting member of several prestigious organizations, including the Recording Academy for the Grammy Awards, the Country Music Association for the CMA Awards, the Academy of Country Music for the ACM Awards and the Gospel Music Association for the Dove Awards.

He attributes his success to his strong faith and family values, as he is the devoted son of former Chattanooga City Councilman Russell J. Gilbert, Sr. and community leader Terri A. Gilbert. T-RAN is also a loving husband to his wife, Alexis Gilbert, and a doting father to his two daughters, Amoré Rose Gilbert and Ayla Rain Gilbert.

"I am truly honored to receive this historic proclamation from the State of Tennessee," said T-RAN. "This recognition is not just a personal achievement, but a celebration of the incredible support from my family, friends and community. My journey in music has always been about more than just the accolades; it's about uplifting others and inspiring the next generation. Together, we can continue to make history."

"T-RAN eagerly looks forward to collaborating with Tennessee state, city and community leaders to further enrich the cultural landscape of the region. His dedication to his craft and his community remains unwavering, and he is excited for the future ahead as he continues to make history," officials said.
