McKee Southern 6 Trail Race Marks 16 Years

Registration is open for the 16th annual trail race at Southern Adventist University, a collaboration between the university’s Outdoor Adventure Program and McKee Foods Corporation. The race will take place on Sunday, Feb. 16, beginning at 1 p.m. in front of Hickman Science Center on Southern’s campus.

Rain or shine, more than 200 runners are projected to compete on White Oak Mountain’s wooded campus trails. All proceeds will support the university’s affinity fund that provides outdoor adventure programming for disadvantaged youth from Hamilton County schools.

Race sponsors include McKee Foods, Classical 90.5 WSMC, Fast Break Athletics, McElroy Trucking, and Morning Pointe Senior Living.

The 6K race is open to the public with a registration fee of $40 for adults and $14 for individuals age 18 and younger. For start times and other race information, visitsouthern.edu/mckeesouthern6.
