Erlanger Cancels Elective Surgeries And Closes Erlanger Medical Group Locations Due To Inclement Weather

In preparation for anticipated inclement weather, Erlanger Medical Group (EMG) will close all its locations on Friday.

This includes the Children’s Hospital Kennedy Outpatient Center and all Erlanger Western Carolina Hospital (EWCH) practices with the exception of the Erlanger Urology, Erlanger ExpressCare, and Urgent Care locations in Murphy, North Carolina.  Erlanger Western Carolina Hospital Outpatient Rehabilitation Services, FitPlus Gym, and Wound Care will also be closed.

Additionally, all elective surgeries scheduled for Friday, January 10, at Erlanger Baroness Hospital, Erlanger East Hospital, and Children’s Hospital at Erlanger have been canceled. Affected patients are being contacted to reschedule their procedures as soon as possible.

Erlanger outpatient imaging locations will close at 12:00 PM (Noon).

Erlanger hospitals and emergency room locations will remain open.

The safety of our patients, staff, and providers is our top priority. Patients with scheduled appointments will be contacted to reschedule at a later date.
