Cheryl Marcum Moore, 73, of Ooltewah went home to be with the Lord on Monday, February 10, 2025, after suffering a brain bleed last week.

A resident of Hamilton County since 1997, Mrs. Moore was an active member of Redemption Point Church of God and the sanctuary choir.

She was recently elected president of the HOA for The Hamptons.

Mrs. Moore was preceded in death by her parents, Wallace and Juanita Marcum; and her husband on January 16, 2025, Larry Allen Moore.

She is survived by her daughter, Kendra Iarussi, Louisville, Ky., and son, Ryan (Candace) Iarussi, Chattanooga; five grand-dogs; nephew, Keith (Sonya) Runyon; and great niece and nephew, Angela and Jonathan Runyon.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, Feb. 15, at 11 a.m. in the funeral home chapel with Pastor Travis Ballinger officiating. Burial will follow at Decatur Cemetery in Decatur, Tn. with Ryan Iarussi, Keith Runyon, Jonathan Runyon, Luke Pettit, and Tim Iarussi serving as pallbearers.

The family will receive friends on Friday, Feb. 14, from 4-8 p.m. at Heritage Funeral Home, 7454 E. Brainerd Road.
