The East Tennessee Symphony Orchestra will host its seventh annual Sweet & Salty Valentine’s Concert Thursday, Feb. 13, 7 p.m., at Founders Hall at The Commons (4950 Swinyar Dr. in Collegedale).

By tradition, the all-volunteer symphony orchestra will open its two-part Valentine’s Day themed concert with its “sweet” portion, featuring romantic classical favorites, and end with an assortment of “salty” big band selections.

This family-friendly event is free and open to the public with first come, first serve seating available and complimentary desserts and beverages by Honey & Hive Catering.

The ETSO has performed alongside a number of prolific bands and musical acts, to include: the Firework Finale during the 2023 and 2024 Hamilton County Fair, its Christmas Concert with the Annie Moses Band for two years in a row, an unforgettable performance with the Grammy award-winning Ricky Skaggs, and many more events with talented local and regional musicians, said officials.

A schedule of future concerts will be available on the ETSO’s website. For more information, contact Mathew Miller at 580-4999.
