Longtime Greeter For Walmart And Army Veteran

Tony Leon Baugh, 66, of Rossville passed away on Monday, Feb. 3, 2025.

Tony was born on Jan. 3, 1959, in Chattanooga, to the late Leon Eugene and Wanda Marie Baugh. He was a lifelong resident of the North Georgia area and a long time member of Rossville Church of Christ and attended Red Bank Church of Christ. He graduated LFO Class of 1977 and served his country in the U.S. Army as a military police officer in Germany. He retired from Walmart after 27 years of service as a greeter.

Survivors include his sisters, Ronda (David) Turner of Ringgold and Angel (Heath) Silvey of Rossville; nieces, Whitney (Eric) Scott and Faith (Nikolas Saloney) Murray.

Funeral services will be 1 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 6, in the funeral home chapel with Mike Baldwin officiating. Interment will follow at Lakewood Memory Gardens, South.
