Second Missionary Baptist Church To Hold Black History Celebration

Second Missionary Baptist Church will hold its annual celebration of Black History on Saturday, Feb. 22, at 11:30 a.m. 
 
The theme is "Black Resilience," featuring Minister Kameron Hayes, a 2023 McCallie School graduate and currently a sociology major at Howard University, Washington, D.C.  
 
The brunch will also include Black Heritage music, poetry, decor and door prizes. 
 
Tickets are available for a donation of $15 per person.  Call 423-624-9097 or stop by the church office for more information.  African attire is optional. 
 
The church is located at 2305 E.
Third St.  The Rev. Dr. Ernest L. Reid, Jr. is senior pastor.
