Traffic Stop Leads To Drug Charges - And Other Collegedale Police Calls

A traffic stop in the 5400 block of Little Debbie Parkway resulted in the driver being charged with simple possession of illegal drugs. 

 

A minor parking lot crash was reported in the parking lot of McKee plant 2. 

A Collegedale fugitive turned themselves on a failure to appear warrant. They were booked and released on bond. 

An individual reported that their passport was lost on the campus of Southern Adventist University. 

A concerned individual reported that they had not heard from their partner since 9 am. Officer’s made contact with the partner at the residence in the Hawthorne at the Summit apartment complex. The partner stated that they were just tired and did not want to speak to their partner who had called. 

An officer worked a two car crash at the intersection of Lee Highway and White Oak Valley Circle. 

A resident in the 5600 block of Landrum 

Drive reported that they had previously sent in the mail for $70 had been forged and cashed for $835.

A shoplifter was caught at the Walmart by loss prevention employees and charged with theft. 

Officers worked a minor crash after one vehicle had rear ended another in the 9400 block of Apison Pike. 

Police responded to an alarm at a business in the 9000 block of Jetrail Drive. The alarm had been activated accidentally by an employee. 

Employees at an Old Lee Highway business accidentally set off their alarm while closing the store. Everything checked out ok. 

An officer responded to yet another alarm at a business in the 5500 block of Little Debbie Parkway. Everything checked out ok. 

A resident in the 5600 block of Landrum Drive reported that they smelled a burning odor.

Police responded to a disorder in the Downing Green neighborhood between a homeowner and a process server trying to serve the resident with papers out of Chancery Court.

A Collegedale fugitive was transported from the Bradley County Jail to the Hamilton County Jail and booked on Collegedale warrants for failure to appear on traffic related charges. 

An officer was requested to check the Four Corners area for an allegedly suspicious person. No one was located.
