CSO Presents Family Concerts - Elmer The Patchwork Elephant

  • Tuesday, March 18, 2025

Chattanooga Symphony and Opera will present its Family Concert, Elmer the Patchwork Elephant, on three different dates. The first will be Friday, April 4, 4:30 p.m. at the Glenwood Community Center. The second is Saturday, April 5, 3 p.m. at the Downtown Chattanooga Library. The final concert is set for Sunday, April 6, 3 p.m. at the Red Bank Community Center.

The concerts are free to attend, but ticket reservation is required.

Made possible by the city of Chattanooga, the Family Concert Series brings classic children's books every child should read with classical music every child should hear. Doors will open one hour early for pre-concert activities that includes an instrument petting zoo and interactive, story-related craft making.

Each 45-minute show begins with a mini-concert performed by CSO's top musicians and then progresses into a storybook performance with live narration. Each family will receive a copy of the book to take home and enjoy again and again.
