Women Of Distinction Seeks Nominations By May 9

  • Tuesday, March 25, 2025

The Women of Distinction of Greater Chattanooga is now accepting nominations for its 2025 honorees. The deadline for submissions is Wednesday, May 9.

Nomination forms are available online here. The criteria for nominees should exemplify leadership, volunteerism, civic involvement and the ability to inspire other women to achieve their full potential.

“For over 41 years, more than 410 local remarkable women have been honored as Women of Distinction and we are thrilled to continue this tradition," said Steering Committee member Lynda Minks Hood.

This year, all event proceeds will benefit the Hamilton County Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library, enriching the lives of over 13,000 local children. Every contribution will be used to purchase books for children in Hamilton County and will be matched by the Governor’s Early Literacy Foundation.

The Women of Distinction of Greater Chattanooga luncheon will be held Wednesday, Nov. 12, from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Chattanooga Convention Center.
