Every year, United Way of Greater Chattanooga partners with local changemakers to rally support for their mission of "uniting people and resources in building a stronger community." This year, Marie Webb, founder of Ethos, a coaching and training company, and Jay Dale, Chattanooga market president of First Horizon Bank, will co-chair the campaign.

"Marie and Jay are dedicated leaders who understand the power of collective action and giving,” said Terran Anderson, vice president of Corporate and Community Engagement at United Way of Greater Chattanooga.
“Their commitment and care for our community will help us rally businesses and individuals to take local action and make a meaningful difference. We can’t wait to see where their leadership takes us in the year ahead."

Officials said, "Outgoing Chair Wade Hinton ignited local impact by leading last year’s campaign, which raised over $5 million from generous donors. These funds will empower local nonprofits and fund United Way programs, reaching more neighbors in need across the community.

"Marie Webb has spent her career helping organizations grow stronger through leadership and culture development. Before launching Ethos, she served as SVP of HR and chief talent officer at EPB, where she helped drive innovation and community impact. Now, as a business owner and active community advocate, she brings her passion for people and progress to the United Way campaign."

"Chattanooga thrives when we lift each other up," said Ms. Webb. "This campaign is about harnessing our shared generosity to create lasting change. I’m honored to be part of this work and look forward to what we can accomplish together.”

"Jay Dale is a longtime business and community leader," officials said. "A strong advocate for education, workforce development and community service, Dale has worked closely with numerous nonprofit and civic organizations to strengthen opportunities for families and businesses alike."

As First Horizon Bank’s Chattanooga market president, Mr. Dale sees first-hand the impact made when the community comes together. “Chattanooga is a giving community. We know that when we work together, we can provide critical resources that make a difference for thousands of people throughout our region. United Way connects all of us to something bigger and when that happens, our collective futures are always brighter,” he said.

"United Way of Greater Chattanooga is thrilled to partner with Marie and Jay to inspire the community to come together and take local action—uplifting neighbors in need and empowering nonprofits to expand their work," officials said.
