Rodney Eric “Hot Rod” Paris, 35, passed away on March 28, 2025, Chattanooga, Tennessee.
He attended Howard High School and was a former employee of Papa John’s Pizza corporation. Rodney was of the Christian faith.
He was preceded in death by his father, Ronald Edward Paris, Sr; two grandmothers, Lillie Williams and Betty Paris; an aunt and uncle, Leslie (Reginald) Ware; cousin, DeSean Evans
He leaves to cherish precious memories, his mother, Angelia Paris; his sister, L. Shae Evans; brothers, Ronald Edward Paris, Jr. and Marlon (Kizzie) Evans; three daughters, Zaniah Paris, My'Lyrica Brown, and Royal Paris; son, Zayden Roberts; nieces Anaca Prater, Akiria Goines, Jamila Evans, and Ry'lei Paris; special cousins, DeShuna Evans, and Kendra Evans; nephews, Jakobi Evans, Kingston Vines, and Ja' Tino Watts.
Public viewing will be held on Monday, April 14, from 2-6 p.m. at the funeral home.
A 3 p.m. funeral service will be held on Tuesday, April 15, in the chapel of John P. Franklin Funeral Home, 1101 Dodds Ave., Chattanooga, 423 622-9995.
