Audrey E. Conner, 101, went peacefully to be with the Lord on April 11, 2025.

A lifelong resident of Red Bank, Tennessee, Audrey was a 1941 graduate of Hixson High School. She was a member of White Oak Baptist Church since 1942 and retired from the U.S. Postal Service in 1992. Audrey was loved by all who were blessed to know her and her desire to take care of everyone was matched only by her humor. When not eating ice cream or enjoying a Sunday drive (or both, that's what grandchildren chauffeurs are for), she could be found lighting up any room she was in with a laugh and a joy that only the Lord could place in someone's soul.

She was preceded in death by parents, Horace and Elizabeth Chauncey; her husbands: Robert C. Morrison, George D. Russ, and J. Marvin Conner; beloved siblings: Dorothy C. Duff, Imogene Kinser, Norine Jackson, and Doyle Chauncey; as well as one son, Glenn Conner.

She is survived by two sons, James M. Conner and Stanley A. Conner; grandchildren, Isaac Conner and Amanda Conner; great-grandchildren, Jace and Braden Conner; as well as several nieces and nephews.

Visitation is from 5–8 p.m. on Friday and 10 a.m.-12 p.m. at Lane Funeral Home, Ashland Terrace.

Funeral services will be held at 12 p.m. on Saturday in the Coulter Chapel of Lane Funeral Home with Dr. Tony Wilson officiating. Interment will follow in Hamilton Memorial Gardens.

Arrangements are entrusted to Lane Funeral Home, 601 Ashland Terrace, Chattanooga, Tn. 37415, 423 877-3524, lanefh.com.
