Joker Month continues at Don Eaves Heritage House thru the end of April . . .
The Heritage House explores the origins & legacy of everyone's favorite villain with a series of films in the month of April:
• Friday, April 17 - In this legendary public domain silent film (and the source for The Joker's iconic smile) a proud noble refuses to kiss the hand of the king and is executed. However, his disfigured son (Conrad Veidt) soon becomes the pawn of royalty -- as a clown.
• Friday, April 24 - A failure in life but a celebrity in his own mind, hosting an imaginary talk show in his mother's basement, our protagonist soon meets his favorite talk show host and is convinced it will provide his big break.
But when the host ignores him, he decides to turn to more drastic measures.
Doors open Thursday evenings at 6 p.m., with the presentations beginning at 6:45 p.m. Admission is free.
