SAR Color Guard Honored At TN State Senate

The Tennessee Society Sons of the American Revolution was honored for its patriotic mission and educational activities in the State of Tennessee by the Tennessee State Senate during a Patriots Day celebration in Nashville last Thursday.  

Members of the society's color guard present for the ceremony included: TNSSAR President-Elect Harlan Dabney (Stones river Chapter), TNSSAR President PZ Horton (Isaac Shelby Chapter), Region Three Director Bryan Beck (John Sevier Chapter), Cliff Kent Color Guard Commander (John Sevier Chapter), President Larry Newsome (James Madison Chapter), Stewart Roberson (Col. Anthony Bledsoe Chapter), President Steven Millhollin (Lt. Andrew Crockett Chapter), President Robert Bolyard (Stones River Chapter), David Sensing (Lt. Andrew Crockett Chapter), Steve Mackorell (Col. Anthony Bledsoe Chapter) and Scott Pryor (John Sevier Chapter).

State Senator and SAR member Todd Gardenhire (John Sevier Chapter) hosted the event in the Senate's Chamber.
