Meena Ravee
It is with profound sadness and much love that we mourn the sudden passing of Meena Ravee on Thursday, April 24, 2025, at the age of 58.
Born in Salina, Ks., on Dec. 12, 1966, she was the daughter of the late Dr. Chorinjeth (Menon) Rajagopalan and Padmini (Paddi) Rajagopalan. Graduating magna cum laude, Meena obtained her bachelor’s degree in pharmacy from Temple University School of Pharmacy in Philadelphia, PA and was involved in the Rho Chi Pharmacy Honor Society as well as the Lambda Kappa Sigma Fraternity. She was employed as a staff pharmacist for the past 35+ years where she served her community with compassion and integrity.
She was known not just for her expert care, but for the warmth and kindness she extended to everyone she met. In addition to being considered a kind and generous friend to many, Meena also had a passion for studying Ayurvedic medicine, volunteering and helping others regardless of the situation, as well as spending time with her family and fluffy white dog, Louie. She enjoyed watching daytime dramas, trying new cuisines, and shopping with her daughter and friends.
She will be remembered by her husband of 33 years, Mani; daughter, Anjali; siblings: Nandukumar (Nandu), Balendukumar (Indu), and Shivakumar (Shibi); and numerous other family members and friends.
A funeral service will be held on Thursday, May 1, at 12 p.m., at Lane Funeral Home, 601 Ashland Terrace, Chattanooga, TN 37415. Private cremation to follow.
