Chattanooga School for the Arts and Sciences (CSAS) is proud to announce the hiring of Jeremy Henderson as the new head coach of the Varsity Boys’ Basketball team.
Coach Henderson brings over a decade of coaching experience, a deep passion for player development, and a proven track record of building successful basketball programs. Most recently, he served as the head coach at Soddy Daisy High School and previously led Sweetwater High School to more than 100 wins over five seasons.
“We are thrilled to welcome Coach Henderson to the CSAS family,” said Principal Robert Alford. “His experience, leadership, and commitment to academic and athletic excellence make him an
ideal fit for our program.”
Henderson is known for his defensive-minded coaching style, emphasis on fundamentals, and ability to inspire student-athletes both on and off the court. He will begin his role immediately, preparing the Patriots for the upcoming 2025–2026 basketball season.
“I’m honored to join CSAS and excited to work with such a dedicated group of student- athletes,” said Henderson. “This school has a rich tradition, and I look forward to building on that legacy with hard work, discipline, and team unity.”
