The Cleveland State men's golf team hosted their regional tournament at The Ooltewah Club finishing third overall in the Cleveland State Invitational.
Cougars golfers Carson Minish and Carson Milen were each named to the All-Region Team. Minish finished one over par tying for seventh place and Milen was a stroke behind him at +2.
Thirteen schools from five states competed in the tournament. Cleveland State is scheduled to host the tournament again next season.
"This was our best finish this year and we are only getting better," head coach Shannon Skipper said.
"I am very proud of these guys for continuing to work hard and improve as we close in on the end of our regular spring season."
The Cougars have one final regular season tournament competing the Last Shot in Danville, Kentucky at Old Bridge GC hosted by Alice Lloyd on April 12 and 13.
