UTC's Braidech Finishes NCAA Play At Auburn Regionals

  • Wednesday, May 14, 2025

Chattanooga Mocs sophomore Camden Braidech shot 2-under 70 in Wednesday’s final round of the NCAA Auburn Regionals. He completed his three days with a 4-over total of 220 at Auburn University Club which tied for 25th on the player leaderboard.

Auburn claimed the team title exploiting the opportunity on its home course with a 32-under total of 832. That was 27 better than runner-up Texas A&M. The Tigers’ Jackson Koivun was medalist at 12 under.

"It was a really solid round today from Cam.

(The course) played the hardest by far with the wind and pins. He did a good job staying patient and just trying to see how many looks he could give himself and then got hot on the back. He made the biggest jump on the leaderboard (20 spots) to 25." – Coach Blaine Woodruff

Five teams punched tickets into the NCAA Championships field led by the Tigers and Aggies. UCLA was next followed by Purdue and Georgia Tech. Cales Borregaard of Kennesaw State claimed the individual berth.
