Chattanooga Girls Leadership Academy and Montessori Elementary at Highland Park will host the 13th Annual Golf Classic on Wednesday, June 5, at Creeks Bend Golf Club. The event will bring together community leaders, local businesses and supporters to raise funds for student-centered programs at both schools.
This community event raises support for services that directly impact students, including: daily care at the school’s health clinic; ACT coaching, preparation, and registration waivers for 10th–12th graders; MEHP educational assistants and tutoring; and classroom Montessori materials to support curiosity and creativity.
“Year after year, the Golf Classic proves what’s possible when a community comes together for education,” said Dr. Elaine Swafford, CEO of CGLA and MEHP. “This is an event filled with competition, but more than anything, a commitment to preparing the next generation of leaders, innovators, and change-makers.”
Last year’s tournament drew over 100 participants, 25 major sponsors, 74 golf hole sponsors, and 11 in-kind supporters.
This year, CGLA and MEHP invite organizations and individuals to join the 2025 tournament as team sponsors, hole sponsors or in-kind sponsors. Opportunities are flexible and can be tailored to align with individual business goals and impact areas.
The tournament will begin at 10:45 a.m. when the range opens. Registration and lunch are at 11 a.m. The shotgun start is at 12:30 p.m., with dinner and awards at 5 p.m.
Team sponsorships range from $1,200 for one four-player team to $5,000 for two teams. The entry fee includes two meals for each player, recognition on the website signage, and a goody bag of various items.
