Pauline Kimsey Ragan, 90, of Signal Mountain, Tennessee, passed away on May 16, 2025, at a local hospital.

Born on April 14, 1935, in Franklin, North Carolina, she was the daughter of the late Harold D. and Helen Hall Kimsey. Pauline, affectionately known as “Polly”, was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 46 years, Charles O. Ragan, Jr., who passed away in 2004.

Polly devoted many years to her work as a nurse in Chattanooga. She had a lifelong love of history, reading, and genealogy, pursuits that brought her great joy and fulfillment.

She is survived by her cousins, Julie French (William) of Troy, Illinois, and Dr. Howard Hall (Melissa) of Morganton, North Carolina.

Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. on Saturday, June 7, at the North Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home. The family will receive friends at 2 p.m. prior to the funeral service. Interment will follow at Hamilton Memorial Gardens.
