She was born on July 25, 1950, in Chattanooga. Sharon worked for both Brock Candy Company and McKee Foods. She was known for her dedication and strong work ethic. Sharon loved animals – especially her pets along the years and grand-dog, Memphis. She also loved spending the Sabbath with God and listening to services. Her sense of humor, faith, and love for her family were constant throughout her life.

Sharon was preceded in death by her daughter, Cathy Ann Mowry; her parents, Alton and Catherine Gordon; and her brother, Al Gordon.

She is survived by her sons, Allen Mowry and Jason (Kitty) Mowry; brothers, Jerry (Renee) Gordon, David (Valerie) Gordon, Tim Gordon, and Don Gordon; sisters, Cathy (Ken) Butler and Beverly Willenborg; and grandsons, Jack Mowry and Matt Casteel.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to McKamey Animal Center, Child Impact International, or Sleep In Heavenly Peace, in honor of Sharon’s caring heart.

Arrangements are by the North Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home, Crematory and Florist, 5401 Highway 153 Hixson, Tn. 37343.
