Marlene Frances Sparks, 86, of Hixson, passed away peacefully on Thursday, July 17, 2025.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Donald Sparks; daughter, Diana Morgan; great-grandchild, Kennedy McClure; her parents, Leo and Maudie Hull; sisters, Nancy Penn and Debbie Taylor; and brothers: Robert Hull, Charles Hull and Leo Hull Jr.

Survivors include her devoted granddaughter, Amber McClure (Josh); cherished great-grandchildren, Kylie and Cash; sisters, Linda Brummett and Marcella Sparks; brother, Wayne Hull; and a host of loving nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends who will miss her dearly.

Marlene will be remembered for her quiet strength, warm heart, and the love she shared with those around her. Her legacy lives on through the lives she touched and the family she helped shape.

Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. on Sunday and 10-11 a.m. on Monday at Lane Funeral Home, Ashland Terrace. Funeral services will be from 11 a.m. on Monday in the Coulter Chapel of Lane Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Hamilton Memorial Gardens.
