Redina Clay
Redina Rene Clay was born on January 31, 1966, and called to her heavenly home on July 16, 2025, surrounded by her loving family.
Redina was a longtime member of St. Matthew’s P. B. Church and later joined her husband in ministry at New Beginning Church which he founded. She faithfully served and uplifted others through praise and acts of service. Her devotion to God was evident in everything she did. Redina was currently serving in the Women’s Ministry at Rock of Salvation Ministries.
She leaves behind a legacy that cannot be measured in words through her love, faith, selflessness and unwavering devotion to family and community.
Redina was preceded in death by her mother Betty Witherow and son Gregory Clay.
She leaves to cherish her memory husband, George A. Clay; father, William “Dub” and Yvonne Burton; uncle, Charles Marsh; aunt Mary Robinson; children, Christie Harris, Tumesha Cameron, Stephanie Tiller, Jillian Clay McClain, Jackie Clay Robertson, Gary, James and Michelle Clay; grandchildren, Marlon Lykes, Jr., Anthony Poole, Jr., Kechell Manghane, Tyreek, Darmecus, and Kemijah Harris; Amari Johnikin, Brandon and Angelo Cameron, Brooklyn Clay, Jordan McClain and Jalen Clay; two great-grandchildren; siblings, Donna Crutcher (Henry), Carlethia Watts, Ellis (Hiroko), Travis (Princess), and Daniel Witherow, Helen McKinley, Gregery Holmes, Zabra Burton Rice (Gino), Frederick (Benita), Roderick (Stephanie), Zanda and Derlein Burton; Bonus children Hailey Hammonds, Alexis Tisdale, Winston Clay, Monika Clay, Nikki Smith, Courtney Montgomery and Sheree Holloway and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
A visitation with family of Redina will be held on Tuesday, July 22, from 6-7 p.m. at Advantage Funeral & Cremation Services - Franklin Strickland Chapel, 1724 McCallie Ave., Chattanooga, Tn.37404.
Funeral services will occur on Wednesday, July 23, from 12-1:30 p.m., at 1724 McCallie Ave.,
Chattanooga, Tn. 37404.
