An employee was fired from a business on Apison Pike and was refusing to leave the property.
Security staff requested officers to be present before approaching the employee’s car due to unusual behavior and dark window tint. The employee left before officers arrived, and a report was completed.
Officers responded to Summit Peak Way after a person was reported pulling on an apartment door. It was determined that the individual was working in the neighboring apartment and became confused about the unit.
An alarm was reported at a business on Reagan Lane.
Contact was made with an employee on site, and the area was checked.
A delayed assault was reported on Ooltewah Industrial Drive. An employee requested a report regarding a previous altercation that had already been documented. The complainant confirmed they did not wish to press charges.
A vehicle crashed head-on into a parked vehicle on High Street after the driver suffered a suspected medical emergency. The driver was transported for medical care.
A two-vehicle crash occurred on Main Street involving a truck and a sedan. No injuries were reported, and the construction area was noted.
A firearm was reported stolen from a vehicle on Katie Kim Lane. It had last been seen approximately three weeks prior and was discovered missing while in another state.
A live power line was reported down on Otis Way, causing a small brush fire. The power was shut off, and the fire was extinguished.
Officers assisted a motorist with a flat tire on Little Debbie Parkway. The spare tire was also flat, so the owner called for a tow truck. Officers remained on scene until the tow arrived.
A passerby reported an unconscious person on the sidewalk on Main Street. Officers made contact and found the person was sleeping.
