MOAA Chattanooga Chapter To Host Golf Fundraiser Sept. 15

The Military Officers Association of America, Chattanooga Chapter will host a golf fundraiser at the Valleybrook Golf and Country Club in Hixson on Monday, Sept. 15. A shotgun start will be at 9:30 a.m., with check-in beginning at 8:00 a.m. Registration, donations and sponsorship can be found at moaveteransgolfclassic.com. Tennessee Debuts At No. 18 In US LBM Preseason Coaches Poll

Tennessee football will open the season ranked No. 18 in the US LBM Preseason Coaches poll that was released Monday. The Volunteers are one of nine SEC teams ranked, and they will face three opponents in the preseason edition of the poll – No. 4 Georgia, No. 8 Alabama and No. 17 Florida. Syracuse, Oklahoma, Arkansas and Vanderbilt are also receiving votes. Tennessee is ranked in the Coaches poll for the 48th consecutive week dating back to Sept. 11, 2022.
