Billy Bryant, 70, of Chattanooga, died Friday, Dec. 26, 2003, at a local hospital.

Mr. Bryant served in the U.S. Air Force in the Korean War, he was a graduate of the University of Chattanooga, and he served as Vice President of IMA and retired from W.R. Grace Chemical Corp.

Mr. Bryant was preceded in death by his brother Thomas Elmo Bryant of Fyffe , Ala.

He is survived by his wife, Arvilla Bryant; daughter, Patti Bryant Long and son-in-law Richard Long of Chattanooga; brother, Edgar Bryant, Jr. of Chattanooga; sisters, Mary Ethelyn Bryant Rains of Springfield, Tenn., and Sarah Bryant Simione of Fairfax, Va.; two grandchildren, Morgan Kelly Long and Maddux Bryant Long.

Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. on Monday in the North Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home with the Rev. Willis Kelly officiating.

Interment will follow in the Hamilton Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends Sunday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. and Monday from 11 a.m. until time of the service at the funeral home.

Arrangements are by the North Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home, 5401 Highway 153, a Dignity Memorial Provider.
