  • Wednesday, September 7, 2005

US-101’s High Noon Saloon concert series, sponsored by Weather Tamer, finds a new home at Chattanooga Billiard Club East (CBC East): 110 Jordan Drive, as of Sept. 14.

The High Noon Saloon will premier at its new location with headliner Aaron Tippin. His songs include Stars and Stripes, Ain’t Nothing Wrong with the Radio and Working Man’s PHD.

High Noon Saloon is a monthly concerts series where artists perform for US-101’s listeners. For the past eight years, the High Noon Saloon was performed between noon and 1 p.m., during the listeners’ lunch hour.

“Moving the High Noon Saloon to an evening show at CBC East will give listeners the opportunity to relax and enjoy the concert without the worry of having to rush back to work,” says Operations Manager Kris VanDyke. Past High Noon Saloon artists include: Trisha Yearwood, Sugarland, Keith Anderson, Jeff Bates, Billy Currington, and many others.

Listeners can get tickets to the High Noon Saloon by qualifying with Midday personality Kim Carson between noon and 1 p.m. daily and by visiting US-101 at remote locations. More information can be found at www.us101country.com.
