Frances Evelyn Templeton Scott, 76, died on Sunday, Aug. 13, 2006, at her residence.
A resident of the Catoosa County area for most of her life, she attended Catoosa Baptist Tabernacle and worked in textiles for 20 years in this area.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Billy Alford; second husband, Robert Scott; parents, Victor and Jessie Mae Walton Templeton; and five brothers, Theodore, Johnny, William, Alvin and Kenneth Templeton.
She is survived by three children, Lebron Alford, of Scottsville, Va., Joe Alford, of Chattanooga, and Kathy Bryson, of Ringgold; four sisters, Sarah Sexton, Novella Carlock and Pat Holsomback, all of Ringgold, and Connie Fouts, of Chickamauga, Ga.; five brothers, R.L. Templeton, Austin Templeton, Larry Templeton and Garry Templeton, all of Ringgold, and Dannie Templeton, of Chickamauga; eight grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; one great-greatgrandchild; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, in the funeral home chapel with the Rev. Bill Proctor officiating. Interment will follow at Lakewood Memory Gardens, East.
The family will receive friends all day Tuesday and until funeral time Wednesday at the funeral home.
