Jamey Leon Cantrell, age 31, of Rossville, Ga., died on Friday, June 1, 2007.
He was born March 6, 1976 to Thomas and Beverly Cantrell in Jacksonville, Florida. Jamey was of the Christian faith and worked as a line technician for Covista Inc., was a graduate of Lakeview Fort Oglethorpe High School, had an A.S. degree in Computer Networking from Northwestern Technical College, loved cars and computers, but most of all, was a loving father.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Bill Underwood, Barbara Lawson and Robert and Martha Cantrell.
He is survived by his wife, Joy Cantrell; son, Alex Cantrell, both of Ringgold; parents, Tommy and Beverly Cantrell of Goodlettsville, Tn.; sister and brother-in-law, LaChelle and David Reece of Gainesville, Fl.; aunts and uncles, Johnny Ray and Charles Cantrell, both of Chattanooga, Ted and Lindi Lawson of Birmingham, Al., Clyde and Brenda Bales of Chattanooga; niece, Lauren Reece; nephew, Will Reece; cousins, Tony (Teri), Robbie (Sabrina), Mark (Mary Katherine) Bales and many other family and friends.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Tuesday in the funeral home chapel. Interment will follow in Greenwood Cemetery.
His family will receive friends after 2 p.m. on Monday and Tuesday until time of service at W.L. Wilson & Sons Funeral Home, Fort Oglethorpe, Ga.
